Hyakutaidō

The hall enshrines around Nyoirin Kannon statue, the 33 statues of Kannon of Kansai Kannon Pilgrimage, the 33 of Bandō pilgrimage and the 34 of Chihibu pilgrimage, which constitute the “100 Kannon statues”. Since middle Edo period this building was the symbol of the popularity of Kannon cult.
